CHArt is looking forward to moving into 2021, adjusting to the new uncertainties around Covid, highlighting our Heritage buildings, and renewing all the Theatre, Concerts, Fundraisers, Festivals and Community Events that bring us all together.

A Tide Fest production about the history of East Hants. Created with Canada 150 grant money, the video is a snapshot of the vast and complex history of East Hants, its peoples, its settlement, its industry, its recreation. As the title suggests, "This is US!"

The film traverses familiar terrain, and maybe some not-so-familiar areas as well, and it touches on aspects of our early history that many of us will not be aware of. You will see familiar faces, people who have lived, and are re-living East Hants history for the benefit of this film.
